As part of the UCL doctoral school, and with support from the FNRS, she has also conducted a cutting-edge research program in cell therapy and regenerative medicine (the potential of adipose tissue stem cells for advanced therapies). The Dr. Lafosse has been in private practice since 2015 in her Waterloo and Uccle practices, and operates at the claris clinic, as well as at the Chirec hospital group in Brussels, where she has headed the Plastic Surgery department since 2019.
