Training and Certification

After graduating as a Doctor of Medicine in 2006 with the highest distinction, Dr. Aurore Lafosse has joined the Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialization program (UCL). Thanks to six years of intensive training with renowned surgeons, she passed the national examination of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum in 2012, and was officially accredited by the Belgian Ministry of Public Health, obtaining the title of specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Professional Experience

From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Lafosse practiced in the plastic surgery department of Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, specializing in pediatric surgery (cleft lip and palate) and reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery.

As part of the UCL doctoral school, and with support from the FNRS, she has also conducted a cutting-edge research program in cell therapy and regenerative medicine (the potential of adipose tissue stem cells for advanced therapies). His work has been published in several scientific journals and presented at international conferences.

Pratique Actuelle

The Dr. Lafosse has been in private practice since 2015 in her Waterloo and Uccle practices, and operates at the claris clinic, as well as at the Chirec hospital group in Brussels, where she has headed the Plastic Surgery department since 2019. She is also a trainer in non-invasive lifting and injection techniques for Sinclair Pharma.
